And just what is VAP Sprocket? It stands for "Variable Adjustable Pitch", the result of nearly a decade of intense research and design. Imagine, a single sprocket with say 30 teeth. Now try to imagine a Spirolic® adjustable ring, wherein each single tooth changes position inward or outward to pre-set pitch diameters. Our single "100/200/30-VAP" Sprocket therefore adjusts all teeth on an adjustable Spirolic® groove to accommodate not only 100 pitch chain, but 120, 140, 160, 180 and 200 pitch chains, all with 30 teeth.
Smaller sizes are not available yet, as market research reveals that the greatest benefit and demand is for the larger pitch roller chain sprockets. We soon will offer 30 tooth to 54 tooth sprockets (designated as 100/200/30 VAP to 100/200/54 VAP) to our established customer base.
